November is a busy month in Llano County, with everyone from deer hunters to Christmas revelers filling the towns and countryside. Hunters get a welcome party in early November. Later in the month, the twinkling lights of Christmas illuminate the evenings and fill residents and visitors alike with holiday spirit.

Llano Hunters Appreciation Day
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4
100 Train Station Drive in Llano
Hunters begin to converge on the Deer Capital of Texas each November when Llano rolls out the red carpet with an appreciation bash that includes free food and soft drinks, 300 goody bags, and raffle prizes.
Llano Fine Arts Guild Plein Art Paint Out
9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12
503 Bessemer Ave. in Llano
Paint a landscape while soaking up some Llano County scenery in this art challenge that’s open to members and non-members alike. Meet at the Llano Art Gallery for coffee and a map. Return later for judging and awards.
HARTH Hoedown 2022
6-10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17
Horseshoe Bay Resort, 200 Hi Circle N in Horseshoe Bay
Enjoy an evening of food, drink, and boot-scooting while supporting the work of the HARTH (Health And Recovery Through Horses) Foundation.
Llano Family Fun Fest
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19
123 Robinson Park Drive in Llano
Bring the family to Robinson Park for live music, free food and drink, exhibits, a car show, kids’ activities, and a guest appearance from Smokey the Bear.
Starry Starry Nights Lighted Christmas Park
6-9 p.m. Nov. 25-Dec. 31
Badu Park, 300 Legion Drive in Llano
Christmas displays fill the park, light up the night, and reflect off the Llano River in this not-to-miss holiday happening that features a snow day and weekend visits from Santa.
