The 2025 Testicle Festival is Saturday, May 17, at the Castell General Store in the tiny Llano County community of Castell. The bright yellow store is a washer-toss from the Llano River and one of those off-the-beaten path, worth-the-drive places you hear about from locals.
Hundreds of pounds of calf fries and catfish are served at the annual Castell Testicle Festival, which seems to grow each year.
Festival-goers have a ball (or many) at this downhome event, which includes live music, good food, and a washer-pitching tournament. The music kicks off around 11:30 a.m. and the balls drop at noon. Washer pitching starts at 1 p.m.
The relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere will have you kicking back and staying awhile.
