Badu Park

For Christmas lights aficionados, Starry Starry Nights is a must-see. Every night in December, the display lights up Badu Park, creating a kaleidoscopic reflection off of the Llano River. Take a sled ride on Snow Day on Dec. 11 and get a photo with Santa on weekends through Dec. 18. For even more holiday lights, view the impressive display on the Llano County Courthouse square.

DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS

Llano

A touch of 19th century London comes to downtown Llano with enough events, attractions, and diversions to drive the “bah humbug” out of the worst curmudgeon. Musicians and magicians stroll the downtown streets joined by a host of Dickens characters and others dressed in period costumes. Santa hosts a breakfast for the kiddos, and Scrooge himself appears at the Bah Humbug Dinner Theater.
