Sometimes you just feel like dancing. Step out and onto the dance floor at a honky-tonk with vintage vibes in Llano or a more modern Buchanan Dam favorite playing a variety of music genres.
Sundown
909 Bessemer Ave., Llano
Wednesday through Saturday nights and some Sundays, 1-7 p.m.
A throwback to a 1970s honky-tonk, Sundown is filled with what made that era memorable: swinging doors, neon lights, hardwood dance floor, cold beer, and the music that defined it. Two-step back in time or discover for the first time what a honky-tonk is all about. Sundown also has a pool table, jukebox, and a backyard with picnic tables, cornhole, and a fire pit. Live music is Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays with free dance lessons on Thursdays. Find the lineup here. Swing by on the last Sunday afternoon each month for a lively round of Chicken Shhh! Bingo.
