Each February, Texas Parks & Wildlife stocks rainbow trout in the Llano River at Grenwelge Park, and the community turns out for the Trout Release Party with free hot dogs, fishing demonstrations, and a festive atmosphere. A wholesome, free family event that’s especially great for kids getting their first taste of fishing.
