Llano Fiddle Fest

The Llano Fiddle Fest is a two-day music festival that features and celebrates bluegrass and fiddle music. During the event, top regional fiddlers will perform and compete for a cash prize.
Music enthusiasts are welcomed to enjoy performances throughout the weekend, including a concert by Kelly Spinks & Miles of Texas and to kick up their heels at a community dance.

Llano River Chuckwagon Cookoff
April 2-4, 2026
Enjoy a weekend of history, heritage, fun and flavor at the Llano River Chuckwagon Cookoff. During this event, chuckwagon enthusiasts bring out their wagons, dress in historical costumes and use traditional cooking methods to share pioneer meals. Sample meats, potatoes, breads and desserts as cookoff entrants compete to take home top chuckwagon honors.

Llano Crawfish Open
April 17 & 18, 2026
A full weekend of crawfish and fun, including a crawfish boil at Llano Park, a golf tournament, cornhole tournament, roping competitions, motorcycle fun run, and more. Fun for the whole family, including arts and crafts for kids and live music. Headliner performances by Chris Cagle (Friday) and Cody Canada (Saturday).

Castell Grind

The Castell Grind is an iconic gravel cycling event set in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. This original gravel (OG) ride offers three counterclockwise routes – the Full Grind (62 miles), Three-Quarter Grind (45 miles), and Half Grind (31 miles) – all starting and ending in Castell. Experience a thrilling ride packed with epic views, rock formations, low-water crossings, wildlife, cattle guards — and with minimal traffic.
