“Art by Fire” pottery exhibit

Opening April 5
Llano Fine Art Gallery, 503 Bessemer Ave., Llano

“Art by Fire: 4 Artists Working in Clay” is on view at the Llano Fine Art Guild through June 21.  The exhibit shows the practical uses of pottery and the dynamic nature of sculpture and includes works by four women.

“Steel Magnolias”

April 4-6, 11-13

The Hill Country Community Theatre presents “Steel Magnolias” on stage. Shows are Friday and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Llano Fiddle Fest

April 5-6
JLK Event Center, 2200 RR 152 West, Llano 

The 47th annual Fiddle Fest and Open Fiddle Contest brings Texas-style fiddle playing to Llano. The event features a Saturday night dance with Bill Mata & The Texas Tradition.

Chalk the Park

April 12
Badu Park, 300 Legion Drive, Llano

Llano Parks Project hosts Chalk the Park 5K Color Run, 1 Mile Fun Run, and Chalk Art Competition from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A day of fun for all while raising money for the parks. Additional activities include rock painting, disc golf, scavenger hunt, rock stacking sculptures, and more.

Balloons Over Horseshoe Bay Resort

Saturday activities during this annual hot-air balloon festival are open to the public and include live music, an Easter egg drop, skydivers, hot-air balloon glows, and children’s games. Morning and evening sessions.

Llano Crawfish Open

Enjoy mudbugs and music at this highly anticipated and much-loved event. Activities include a golf tournament, team roping, motorcycle fun run, great live music including headliners William Clark Green and Joe Nichols.
