The first-ever Wakepoint Open wakeboarding and wakesurfing competition takes place on Lake LBJ in Kingsland. The event will feature elite and amateur athletes. Spectators can arrive at the competition area via private boat or by water taxi at Wakepoint LBJ in Kingsland.

The Beer by the Bay music festival features two nights of non-stop country music and beer tastings from local breweries. Headlining performers are Tracy Byrd (Aug. 8) and Randy Rogers Band (Aug. 9).
“Forever Plaid”

The HCCT wraps up its Season 39 with the stage production “Forever Plaid.” Audiences will be transported back in time as they enjoy this charming and harmonious musical revue. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
