Nestled along the Llano River near historic downtown Llano, the city’s Badu Park offers a sandy beach, a swimming area and splash pad, a playground, a picnic area with barbecue pits and restrooms, nature trails, small boat access, and RV hookups. The park plays host to a Fourth of July celebration, Halloween Pumpkin Float, Christmas lights display, and the very popular Llano River Chuck Wagon Cook-off.
