While the shimmering lakes and picturesque Hill Country landscape define the Highland Lakes, it is the local cuisine, wine, beer, and other crafted concoctions that give it its distinct flavor. Sample what the area has to offer during Taste Highland Lakes on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 1-5 p.m. at Legends Golf Course and Villas in Kingsland.

Hosted by the Kingsland Chamber of Commerce, Taste Highland Lakes has a fun, food festival vibe. Guests sample and sip their way through the best bites, brews, spirits, wines, coffees, and other delights crafted right here in the Highland Lakes. Six Sons of a Gun, a traditional country cover band out of Austin, will get toes tapping and boots scooting.
