Enchanted Rock

One of the most iconic landmarks in Texas, Enchanted Rock is a massive dome of pink granite that rises 425 feet above the Hill Country.

A Landmark Worth the Drive

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area sits on the Llano County line and draws hikers, climbers, and stargazers from across the state. The summit trail is a 0.6-mile climb over bare granite to the top of the dome. While steep in places, the trail is accessible to most visitors in reasonable shape, and the views from the top stretch for miles in every direction.
