Summer 2023 is here and Llano County rings in the month of June with festivals, kayak lessons, a downtown marketplace, and lots of live music. 

LLANO HERITAGE DAY FESTIVAL     

9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, June 3

Courthouse Square in Llano

Celebrate Llano’s colorful history with storytellers, historical re-enactors, and German and Native American dancers. Ride a stagecoach, churn butter, or make a cornhusk doll. Plenty of food and live music.

INTRO TO KAYAKING AT BLACK ROCK PARK 

1-3 p.m. Saturdays, June 3 and 10

3400 Texas 361 at Buchanan Dam

Take a kayak lesson on beautiful Lake Buchanan. Learn the basics, paddling techniques, and safety. Registration for this LCRA Parks event required.

LLANO FARMERS & CRAFTERS MARKET

Shop the vendor booths for homebaked bread, local honey, homemade preserves, and handcrafted jewelry.

LLANO PARKS FESTIVAL      

Friday-Sunday, June 9-11

Robinson Park in Llano

This free event has something for everyone, including a golf tournament, live music, food trucks, and a fishing tournament.
