A Dickens of a Christmas

Courthouse Square in Llano
Costumed characters straight out of a Charles Dickens novel set the scene in downtown Llano. Visitors will find live music, carriage rides, vendors, and even a bed race. Other events that weekend include a theatrical dinner and a Victorian tea.
Llano Holiday Home Tour
Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2

Visit homes and businesses decked out in their holiday best.
Llano Lighted Christmas Parade
6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2
Downtown Llano
Santa arrives accompanied by bands, floats, decorated vehicles, and bikes in this annual holiday parade.
Llano Snow Day
1-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9
Badu Park, 300 Legion Drive in Llano
There is a 100 percent chance of the frozen stuff during Llano’s Snow Day. The purchase of a wristband will have you sledding all day.
Heart of Texas Christmas Show
2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9
LanTex Theater, 113 W. Main St. in Llano
This performance will have toes tapping to holiday tunes. Performers are Darrell McCall, Justin Trevino, Tony Booth, and Dottsy and Mona McCall.
Starry Starry Nights
6-9 p.m. nightly through Dec. 31
Badu Park, 300 Legion Drive in Llano
Stroll through Llano’s annual Christmas lights display. Admission is free.
