Llano County Historical Commission and the Llano Fine Arts Guild will host Mr Ben Friberg as part of the America 250 Celebration in Llano on July 1, 2026 at 5:30pm in the Llano Fine Arts Gallery located 503 Bessemer in Llano.
Refreshments will be provided and patriotic art work by Fine Art Guild members on display.
Ben Friberg is a proud seventh-generation Texan whose family roots trace back to Stephen F. Austin’s famed Old 300 settlers.
The presentation explores how the revolutionary ideals, cultural exchanges, and competing visions of freedom and self-government of Mexico, the United States and Texas were shaped by the same forces, ambitions, and aspirations that transformed North America.
